ClearCommand

New agency onboarding

Let's get your department set up.

Answer a few questions about your agency and we'll have your ClearCommand account configured before your onboarding session — so that time is spent on your policies, not on data entry.

Takes about 10 minutes — no documents needed yet
Step 1 of 6 Your department

Tell us about your department

The basics that identify your agency and tailor ClearCommand to your state's statutes.

The everyday name, e.g. "Springfield Fire Department".
As it appears on legal documents and policy headers.
Sets which state statutes apply to your policies.

Other stations or facilities, if any — one per line or comma-separated.

Who should we work with?

Your main point of contact for setup and the onboarding session.

We'll send your confirmation and next steps here.

Who else needs access?

List the people who should get ClearCommand accounts — chief and/or designee, policy administrators, commissioners. You can always add more later.

Policy drafting details

These names and references appear in your generated policies — signature blocks, legal citations, and headers.

Best guess is fine on any of these — we'll confirm every detail together during onboarding.
Appears on policy signature blocks.
Your agency's attorney, for policy review signatures.
Legal jurisdiction in formal references, e.g. "City of Springfield".
Municipality name as used in statute references.
The chapter that establishes your Commission's authority, e.g. "Chapter 32".
Official public email for the Commission (used in open-records policies).
Time allowed for new hires to obtain a CDL, used in hiring policy.
Primary certification required for promotion.

Union, CBA & your policies

ClearCommand checks every policy against your collective bargaining agreement — tell us about yours and what you plan to bring in.

Used in CBA citations. If none, enter "None".
We'll remind you ahead of contract renewal.

A rough count of what you'll upload — helps us prepare.

Attach your current collective bargaining agreement (PDF or Word .docx, up to 50 MB). We'll import and parse it before your onboarding session — your account will open with the CBA articles ready to review and approve.
Select all that apply — we'll shape your onboarding session around these.

Billing & your onboarding session

Who handles the paperwork, and when works for your 60–90 minute onboarding session.

Used to size your quote.
Anything your finance office needs from us — PO numbers, vendor forms, W-9.
